Natascha Hebell-Fernando obtained her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and received the Award for Academic Excellency. She is an Arizona Licensed Acupuncturist and a nationally board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Oriental Medicine includes the practice of acupuncture, Chinese herbology and Asian bodywork therapy.
Always having had the purpose of wanting to help people in mind, she previously trained as Doctor in Biological Sciences, and conducted molecular biology research at the University of Padova in Italy. Eventually, she decided to expand her knowledge by pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration (Clemson University, Clemson, S.C.) and spent several years in technology-based economic development, grant administration and bridging the world between science, technology and business. On her quest to truly help people live better lives, she decided to expand her approach to providing holistic care to people. Oriental Medicine provided the path towards empowering people’s health in the context of correcting the cause of disease or discomfort.
